Christie Slocombe Toronto Christie has worked with us since 1995. Christie's personality and experience as a teacher, homemaker and public service volunteer make her ideally suited to interview students and to select prospective hosts. She is well traveled and is as sensitive to the feelings of students and hosts as she is skilled in helping them to understand and accommodate the differences in their roles, customs and expectations. Deirdre Lebel Toronto Deirdre is an executive relationship manager in Toronto. She works with our students, hosts, clients, and overseas agents. Deirdre has extensive experience working with international students and has traveled around the globe. E-Mail Deirdre

Emma Archer Toronto Emma joined us in January 2010. She comes to us from a major independent language school in Toronto, where she worked for 7 years with agents, students and hosts. She has first-hand experience with every aspect of our market. Emma has travelled extensively across North America and the UK holding sales conferences and providing training seminars. Yvette Fernandes Toronto Yvette joined CHI as a Relationship Manager in March 2011. Prior to joining CHI, Yvette worked at a major independent language school in Toronto. She has many years of experience dealing with international students, challenging situations and collection of payments. Yvette is outgoing, loves animals and being outdoors and has two kittens.. Jacqueline Kok Toronto In addition to both publicly funded School Boards in Toronto, Jacqueline leads our Client Service Teams for Trent University, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and several international student education agencies. She also directs our national practice for students from Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. Jacqueline was born in Malaysia and lived in the United Kingdom, before settling in Canada. She therefore identifies and is sympathetic with the challenges our students face and the value of our services, including our pre-departure orientation, as well as helping to manage the expectations of students and their parents alike. Dee-Anne Miles Toronto Dee Anne has been involved in every aspect of our work with students and their hosts, as well as agents and several client School Districts. For several years, she directed the Client Service Team for one of our national Agents, providing direction and support to our colleagues in ten communities across four provinces. She now travels across the country on special projects focusing on host screening interviewing and due diligence, and presently oversees our Client Service Teams in Red Deer and Edmonton. Dee Anne's professional qualifications include special education for the hearing impaired and the supervision of volunteers in a national community service organization. Amber Passaladis Scarborough Amber joined the CHI team as Relationship Manager in September 2011. She supports our hosts and team in the Greater Toronto Area. Prior to joining CHI, Amber worked as an ESL teacher in Toronto and Seoul,South Korea. Her family has hosted students for CHI since 2000 and has had the pleasure of hosting over 100 students. She enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures. During her travels, she has been to Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands. Carol Anne Wicks Peterborough Carol Anne joined the CHI Team in Peterborough in 2011. She and her husband Chris along with their three wonderful children have hosted over 60 International Students from all over the globe. She is very active in her community and volunteers many hours at her local church. Previously a Food Service Manager for six years and Owner/Operator of a home-based business for over 22 years. Erin Wladarski Windsor Erin joined our team as a Relationship Manager responsible for developing a host network in Windsor and the surrounding area. She was born and raised in Windsor and worked with the Local Utility Company for 26 years, lending to her exceptional people skills. Over the past seven years Erin was employed with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board. Here she maintained the role of support staff to various schools in the Windsor, Essex County area. As a volunteer, Erin spreads her time between minor hockey and various fund raisers. Erin is active in her son’s school and her church as well, where she is a Sunday School Teacher and Co-Coordinator of Community Outreach Dinners. Helping the less fortunate is her greatest passion and this has been exhibited during her mission trips to Haiti. Erin and her husband John have three wonderful children. E-Mail Erin
